A preview on the (then) upcoming Apocalypse Dudes album offered by German OX magazine which is up and running since the late 80's and has become Germany's biggest magazine in the punkrock sector and is being published 3-monthly. The early issues of OX used to include a free seven inch compilation, in the mid-90's they picked up on the idea of the compact disc compilation which usually feature about 30 tracks total. Actually this compilation was put out about 2 months before the Dudes's album release, but do not fear, collectors, it's the same version as on the album. The booklet comes with the complete lyrics to "Get it on".

The title "Ohrenraedern" means something like "to break ears on the wheel". Most likely eluding to the "torturing of the ears".

Spex magazine kicked off in the early 80's and is Germany's oldest magazine still in existence on pop culture in general with a strong focus on contemporary independent and underground music. In its April 2003 issue Turbonegro were lucky to grace the free cd compilation as well as the frontpage, and in its editorial Spex even rates Turbonegro to be easily one of the ten most important bands of the 90's. This issue includes an article written by Rocco Clein (of Viva TV) about their re-union along with impressions from the press conference held in Oslo prior to the release of Scandinavian Leather. Plus a brief almost academical approach to analyse Turbonegro's image by another member of the Spex staff.

We're also embraced a special appearance with some new nice angst-ridden painful alternative rock noise from up and coming prospects Sounds Like Violence on the fitting anthem "You Give Me Heartattacks".
