Ok the story behind it,

Well the track is a bootleg, that is the music from one song edited and then the vocals from another song put over the top of it. It's a way to make songs that are shit into songs that aren't as shit. This particular track features Turbonegro Hate The Kids vs Craig David - 7 days (it's a really shit r'n'b tune...probably worth the download just to understand how bad it is).

So as you have your Turbonegro site and followers (nice site by the way), then we also have a bootlegging site which all the people who make this kind of stuff congregate at ( http://gybo.proboards4.com/index.cgi). Well the guy who runs that site was asked to DJ at T In The Park in Scotland last summer, where I'm sure you'll know, Turbonegro were playing. So he asked for people to make bootlegs featuring the bands who were playing, as pretty much all the other bands were shit, I opted for Turbonegro...

I'm not a big fan of Scandinavian Leather, much prefer Ass Cobra...so after some messing around I decided to use Turbonegro Hate The Kids, a little while spent finding an acapella (vocals with no music) to put over it and I came across the Craig David track which worked on 2 levels, it fit over the track and it would mean I could call it Turbonegro Hate Craig David (Craig David is pretty much hated in the UK...search for him in Google and most of it will be people abusing him I reckon).

The post I made when putting the track online says...

"4 in the morning and I almost went ahead and made a proper boot of Turbonegro vs 7 days...then i realised that the proper punk thing to do would be to drop one verse...prove it works and then have a rousing 30 seconds of Turbonegro shouting that they hate Craig David.

2 minutes long...under 2 meg...distorted to fuck...punk rock!"

So anyway, the track got played at T In The Park and that's the end of the story.
