   Life

Heroine-addiction was the reason Turbonegro broke up and quit in 1998. Now they're back, and money is the reason for the norwegian suburban heroes to do a comeback.

The reunion will find place on the Quart festival next summer. Turbonegro, which experts mean have made the most important european rock album ever, is the first main attraction to play Quart 02. The festival will be arranged from July 2nd - July 6th.

During Quart last year, three bands played Turbonegro-covers, Queen of the Stone Age, The Hives and MaMayhem. Since then, The Quart-crew's been on to us. When the right amount of money was reached, we agreed to do a show. There are no other norwegian rock bands that can deliver, so I guess we just have to do it, says Thomas "happytom" Seltzer, now a member of the new "Åpen Post" (norwegian talk show)

Turbonegro decided to quit after 10 turbulent years, when vocalist Hertis' (H.E.D.H) heroine-problems reached climax during a european tour in December 98. Since then, Herts has got back on track, living in Moskenes in Nordland, Norway.

"The comeback is probably not good, due to Hertis' condition, but money will cure anything," Seltzer states. The heads of Quart says the comeback might be a start for a larger reunion-tour.

"We've got great offers from Germany, Italy and Sweden," Seltzer says following a good old rock n roll statement about next summers comeback:

Cigarettes. Methadone. Swearing. Deathpunk. Sing-alongs. Cash. Controversial meanings.

In 5 words: Turboneger: Norway's biggest rockband ever!
