On behalf of the other members of Turbonegro, I wish to make the following statement:

We have decided to break up, after nearly a decade of Deathpunk & Darkness.

Due to drug problems, mental illness and an impending religious crisis(!) we saw no other options than to cancel the last 5 dates of our sold-out Darkness Forever! European Tour. Our deepest apologies go out to the denim recruits who were expecting us to show, and also to support act Nashville Pussy for the problems they encountered as a result of our cancellation.

We are all very proud to have been part of something as important as Turbonegro, and we rest assured knowing that we have meant a lot to a lot of good people throughout the years. We are also glad we were able to experience the recent years immense (and unlikely) success, and are proud that we have stuck to our vision throughout our existence.

As we have decided that giving interviews at this point is pointless, we are not giving interviews. Our fanclub & mailorder may start again in the near future, watch this space here!

We will play one last show, at Mars, Oslo on the 18th of december, supported by The Backyard Babies.
