Revenge From Hell

Reunions is an overrated thing. Most often. In the case of Turbonegro, we are willing to change opinion on that.

At 10.45 pm last night, the speakers cried out the well known tunes of "Age of Pamparius", and the fact that Turbonegro was backstage again for the first time in four years was confirmed.

Far away from being Norway's best band, but likely the most mystical, and with a cult status amongst big masses in Europe, especially Germany and Sweden. GOd knows what they thought behind the stage while Euroboy (Knut Schreiner) was getting ready to kick it all off.

And suddenly, they were there; Euroboy, Happy Tom, Chris Summers, Pål Pot Pamparius and Rune Rebellion. Only one was missing, and finally he also showed up in all its glory; Hank von Helvete, dressed up the way we know him. Ten-thousands of Hulstfred-pilgrims went nuts!

The Evil Master Of Rock

"Fuck! Its soo good to be back!" Hank shouted, a little fatter and perhaps vocally a little weaker, since last time we saw him on a stage, but still as the evil master of turborock. In classic style, he nailed an also pushed Turbonegros reputation for playing with homo-erotic fetishes. And what Hank had to say about his heroine addiction, and close-to-death experiences is no good to refer here. In other words; Everything like it used to be, and maybe just a little better as well!

Coz it really sounded very good! Much because of Euroboys hard work with the solo-parts. - more hardworking than Slash in his glory days with Guns n' Roses. What an amazing guitarist Euroboy is!

So we got an effective, hard and successful comeback with our mysterious heroes - completed with Hanks assrocket during the extra number "I Got Erection".

Weather they go to studio to record new material or not, is not decided yet. Another question; is it wise to do so? As a matter of fact; its better to quit at the peak of a career, than to ruin the cult status with a bad new record.

However, a fun and nice show with the re-erected Apocalypse Dudes it really was!
