   Scandinavian Leather
by Brian M. Raftery | Entertainment Weekly
   2003

The sound is Norwegian hard rock, the look is Tom of Finland-meets-Village People, and the lyrical approach is junior-high snicker-inducing ("F--- the World," etc.). Yet you can't help but take Turbonegro seriously, especially when they unshackle their melodramatic metal with such conviction. At their raunchy best--"Drenched in Blood (D.I.B)", "Le Saboteur"-- they gleefully bridge the gap between the Misfits' horror-show punk and Alice Cooper's cartoon sleaze.

Insight:

EW has a rate base of 1,600,000 (meaning that's how many people actually buy the magazine), an audience of 9,522,000 (which is the number of people that end up reading the magazine each week) and a median age of 33.3 years (which, coincidentally, is 66.6 if you double it - the median age of the Beast!). What all of this means is that global domination can't be far behind.
