Friday Feb. 10th 10pm Bloodbath Kickoff at the King Club, 114 King Street (608)251-king. Featuring the Music of Jugend band BRAINERD from Madison with openeners THE PHENOMS and HEADACHE CITY from Chicago.

Saturday Feb. 11th

3-6pm - The Madness Continues. Turbojugend beer drinkers and connoisseurs of fine German food will convene upon the ESSEN HAUS restaurant, 508 E. Wilson St. (608)258-8619, for a late lunch, and Boot drinking contest. If the boot touches the table you must drop your pants. These are the rules of the boot and the rules will be strictly obeyed.

6-9pm - Mad Rollin Dolls roller derby invites the Turbojugend to join them for their bout at Fast Forward roller rink, 4649 Verona Road(608) 271-6222. Tickets are $10, and yes, they serve beer there too. Roller Derby and Beer are an excellent combination.

9-11pm - Meet and Greet at the High-Noon Saloon with the Gritty-Denim-Clad-Sailor-Jugend-Demons and the Sweaty-Roller-Derby-Girls. There will be a Turbo Negro DJ on hand spinning tunes if you'd like to shake that ASS, as well as cool Turbo Negro giveaway items. You won't want to miss it! Once again, this event is FREE for Turbojugend.

11-2am - Time for more Rock-N-Roll at the High-Noon with Jugend Bands KNUCKEL DRAGER and 715 from Madison and BURNOUT from Iowa City.

2-?am - Exclusive Turbojugend / Mad Rollin Dolls Afterparty! Party Animals UNTIE! You've never been to a party like this... no, not like this!

Sunday Feb. 12th

Noon-ish pm Turbojugend will convene at the Orpheum Theatre to recuperate, enjoy a brunch, a bloody mary, share war stories and prepare for the journey home from a magical place we call the BLOODBATH.

Should be just about the coldest day of the year. We're looking at -30 Fahrenheit. So far it's something like this...

3-5pm Huge feast at the Essen Haus with German food and Beer, They have a polka band, so we could have a Jugend Polka Contest!

6-9pm Mad Rollin' Dolls, Female Roller Derby at Fast Forward Roller Rink, Jugend get in for free, These girls are mean and lean, and they serve Beer there too.

9-11pm Meet and greet with Turbojugend and Mad Rollin Dolls at the High Noon Saloon (www.high-noon.com) with a Turbo DJ, maybe show some movies, check out merchandise. Drawings for Turbo/Derby giveaways. We're doing Shirts, Stickers, Buttons, and handmade silk-screened posters.

11-2am. Knuckel Drager (Heavy Surf Music, wearing vintage vinyl monster masks, pyro, glitter cannons, the works) The Suit (ex-members of Pachinko on Alternative Tentacles Records, 3 bass players, no guitar, all ROCK) and One other band (I'm trying to get Turbo A.C.'s or Heroine Sheiks.) Any ideas? Maybe Brainerd will show up, we'll see...

Then the after party will start.

We can get cheap rooms at a really nice hotel right downtown on the Capital square, might get a conference room for people to crash at. Our recording studio is 4 blocks from the club, The Restaurant is 4 blocks from the club, and there are 2 lakes, each 8 blocks from the club, if you feel like ice fishing or building an igloo.

:: LEADERSHIP OF RUNE GRØNN!

In a recent article by Ante-Kristian Duun for bransjenytt.org the claims of several of the band's previous road crew are brought to light. It seems over the past 3 years as many as 16 crew members have quit or have been fired. Many of which say that its because of Rune Grønn's leadership.

"The earlier crew-members say that Rune Grønn and Pål Bøttger Kjærnes have been having sudden one on one meetings with the crew-members to test their personality and cross examination".

Christian Cook: "I don't feel appreciated here. They make me work almost all the time, and that's not what I'm best at!"

If you've worked out the kinks in your understanding of the Norwegian language then have a look for yourself and draw your own conclusions.

Our beloved friend and Jugend Role model "Max Power" from "Turbojugend Årdal" has been nominated for the Norwegian award show "Alarm Awards"! On the concert December 9 in Oslo he will probably be joined by a camera crew from Norway's biggest television channel, and it will give us lots of attention, and hatred from parents that will fear the new plague: Homosexuality! The award he has been nominated for is: "Blood fan of the Year" - Most dedicated fan!

Anyway I think it's important that every jugend in the whole wide world get's the possibility to vote for our dear friend! So I think this message should go to every jugend chapter in the world!

Big chapter check at German VISIONS festivals!

During the three dates of the German magazine's 15th Anniversary Festival, VISIONS are having a very special competition: The chapter that shows up with the most people (only those in Kutte count!) wins a 'Meet & Greet' with the band after the show.

To be eligible you have to go to the VISIONS stand at the venue and have a chapter head count. Deadline is two hours after doors open. :: TURBOJUGEND MIDDLETOWN BRIEF!

A description of Turbonegro's show in Baltimore, MD. 10/07/05

- Turbonegro introduced a 7th "member" - a midget dressed like Hank! Hey came out several times during the show, in Hank gear and in a black jump suit with a "Party Animals" helmet.

- Played two encores. During the break they changed from their new outfits back to all denim.

- They did some line dancing after the show to the outro music on Party Animals

- Shot out confetti and fake money with Turbonegro members on it instead of presidents (the money was during Sell Your Body to the Night I believe).

- Hank gave the crowd a lesson in Norwegian on how to say "Motherfucker" and "Don't say motherfucker, motherfucker". He said that be a base for us to build on.

- Hank said Turbonegro will hit the US like Katrina. (After making fun of us for letting "a little rain turn you into a third world country")

- Hank said they're back cause they have a new album and we're the greatest country.

Thirteen years after the release of the last installment of Skate Rock, seminal skateboarding magazine Thrasher has resurrected the long-running skate comp. series. The new edition, titled Skate Rock Volume 12: Eat the Flag will be released on November 8th, 2005 and will break away from the cassette-format of previous releases and instead be issued as a DualDisc.

The audio side will contain new songs from Alkaline Trio, Millencolin, Only Crime, Turbonegro, and Riverboat Gamblers, The Heartaches (feat. Kristian Svitak), Gnarkill (feat. Bam Margera), U.S.S.R (feat. Tony Trujillo) and Die Hunns (feat. Duane Peters).

The DVD side will feature a documentary that captures the what, when, and how skateboarding became so important to rock and vice-a-versa along with interviews from Duane Peters, Tony Trujillo, and Steve Caballero. Also included are 3 songs from TurbonegroÕs performance at the 2004 Thrasher Magazine Skater Of The Year Awards.

Hank's unmatched stage wit has gotten the boys in a bit of hot water with Sweden's Royal Family.

The story goes:

"...well the case is, Hank told a sex story on stage in Stockholm. He tells the audience that Euroboy and Happy Tom has a theatre in Oslo, and that one day, it was a family that wanted to work for them. They had an "audition" with incest and when Euroboy and Happy Tom (as some sort of "idol judges") asked about their name, they answered "the Swedish Royal Family". The Swedish Royal Family lets their lawyers handle the case. Turbonegro say's they won't stop, and that they are going to do the same to the Norwegian Royalties, as soon as they have a concert in Oslo!"

It would appear that one John-Michael Bond (go figure) has it out for Norway's favorite sons. In a recent review of 'Party Animals' Mr. Bond gives a less than favorable ("Almost every song on Party Animals sounds like it was dumbed down to insure another guest spot on Viva La Bam.") opinion of the boys' latest release. And now just over two weeks later in reviewing another act JMB takes another swipe at Turbonegro. Perhaps his manly name and puny beret got him turn away at the door all the while crying 'I'm on the guest list! I'm on the guest list!'

There will also be live music by the Midnight Creeps (Providence) and Rock N Roll Soldiers (Portland). In addition to the listening party our good friend Mark V will be spinning all sorts of rock and roll for us to party to.

a) 'Party Animals' release date for North America!
Abacus (Century Media) will release the album on August, 23rd. There's a couple of plans to organize 'Party Animals' parties with several American Jugends. More details to be announced soon but feel free to check the worldwide TJ forum as well. These parties will be organized by the label, not by us! To promote the album TRBNGR plan to tour the US later in the year.

b) Football match: Iron Maiden VS. Allstars (incl. Hank von Helvete)
This week Iron Maiden play two shows in Oslo. During their stay in the Norwegian capitol they organized a friendly football match against a Norwegian allstar-team. This team included Hank von Helvete, some other national musicians, skijumpers and ex-soccer players. Iron Maiden lost 8:1 against the Allstars.
