Here is an update on the Turbojugend Oktoberfest.
The date has been moved up to Sunday, October 19.
It will be held at Alpine Village, 833 W. Torrance Blvd. Torrance California.

From LA, take the I-110 south to the Torrance Blvd Offramp, just South of the I-405.
From the South, take the I-405 North to the I-110 South, and exit at Torrance Blvd.

Sunday is the best day because it is Family Day, and opens at 12:00. That
means it won't be as crowded as Friday and Saturday night, we can get in
there earlier, and probably get tables reserved.
I am working on reservations right now, so I need to see how many are
planning on attending. So far we have Orange County, Silverlake, and San
Marcos Jugends planning on showing up. Talk to your people and see who wants
to go, and get me a head count.
I am also working on getting us all in for free. Again, I need to know
numbers so I can get enough free passes. You can also go to

Attention all California Jugends,
After attending the insane Turbonegro show last weekend at the Henry Fonda
Theatre in LA, I realized how many different Jugends were out there in the Southland area.
In an attempt to unify our unwashed masses, I would like to call an
INTER-JUGEND OKTOBERFEST October 25 at the Torrance Oktoberfest. My SWAT
Minister pointed out that it was the best Oktoberfest he had ever attended,
with a real German Oompah Band, and plenty of room. (Unlike my local HB
Oktoberfest, which gets so damn crowded is becomes a hassle.) It is also
centrally located for the LA area.

someone has a better idea of a better place. But for now this can work.
I know my friends and Jugend brethren in St. Pauli Hamburg have close to 50
members; their parties are out of hand and the site of so many TJ jackets

Deutschland, and rally up your troops and come on out. I will be working on
confirming the dates, directions, all that shit. This might be the first of
many good Inter-Jugend Festivities, such as Turbojugend Superbowl Sunday,
Sloshball Tournaments, and my favorite, the Turbojugend James Jones Tainted
Purple Kool-Aid Party.

:: TURBO SETS PHOENIX ABLAZE!
Sweating, pushing, screaming, chanting...Turbonegro at the Mason Jar in Phoenix Arizona.
One of Turbo's finest shows combining top speed energy along with personal shout outs and local fan-made cowboy hats.
Euroboy's performance was phenomenal as he wailed away at the guitar while being carried away in the sea of Phoenix Jugend.
Pål Pot was also in high form with his awesome keyboard riffs and ever-eccentric Turbo style.
Chris Summers was sighted at Kats (the local bar next store) playing pool and looking Ultra Denim before the show. Later that night he would proceed to kick more life into the drums than any other show I've been privileged to see!
Rune Rebellion also made the crowd roar as he pleased the audience with his mean rhythmic style and dominating demeanor.
Then there was Happy Tom. After battling an episode of food poisoning the night before, Tom didn't miss a hitch with his powerful bass lines and dazzling display of stage presence.
Lastly, the one and only Hank Von Helvete would take the stage with darkness and determination...and a cane that twirled remarkably close to hundreds of unsuspecting Sailor heads. His clever side-comments and memorable dedication will never be forgotten...nor will the Denim Demons.
Although the feathers were absent, the blood was plenty adding to the highest energy level in recent rock history that is still a buzz in the 'valley of the sun'...Phoenix, Arizona.

Finally back home after a mind blowing east coast turbo experience: Baltimore and New York City!
Baltimore - 09/13/03
The boys virtually explode upon hittin' the stage and blasting through an unstoppable stratum of deathpunk delights.
Turbojugend Baltimore were clearly represented as were TJ Washington, TJ Orange County, TJ Phoenix and TJ Philadelphia. Great show!
A sailors nod goes out to the guys running sound at the Otto Bar. Both professional and deliberate they made quick work out of the shift from opener to headliner.
The results: a wall of blistering distorted guitars complimented by a demonic rhythm section that rumbled the club with trombonian bass and the fattest pounding drum sound to date. Very nice snare sound indeed!
Hank's vocals intelligible and for the most part unscathed by relentless touring that one might've come to expect. The Euroboy's fretted frenzy could've been more apparent, but hey...
A full review of the nights events will be up shortly.
New York - 09/14/03
The following night brought more of the same turbo talent only this time to the Big Apple, New York City! Tom's been quoted as saying "it was one of the top 5 shows ever!"
The international Turbojugend Community showed up in force for the event and subsequent after party. Most, if not all, jugends from the previous night were seen with the cities own Turbojugend New York and jetsetting Turbojugend Trondheim.

States and Canada starting tonight in Washington, DC at The Black Cat. On August 21st they received the prestigious
'Spirit of Indepence' award given by Kerrang! Magazine. The awards ceremony was a Turbonegro celebration with
Metallica's James Hetfield rooting for the band like there was no tomorrow and Good Charlotte dedicating one
of the awards they received to the Norwegian Alpha Motherfuckers. Happy Tom's acceptance speech was: 'I'd like
to thank God above and the God below', he grins. 'And finger-fucking'.

At this time Turbonegro is sharing space 12, same as R.E.M. Anyone can vote on this site, so why not help the
demin boys to reach for the top!?
You can vote one time for each band, but on as many band's as you want.
Just remember that you must spell the name as Turboneger (Since it's in Norway).

:: TURBO SET SAIL FOR TITANIC SHOW!
They have already taken us by land, and on Wednesday 20 August, they will take us by sea, too. Turbonegro announce
their extra-special motherfucking summer Boat Party, which will rock hard on the Thames for six-hours of ocean-going
mayhem, from 20.00 hours until two the following morning. Expect a full live set from the Turbs, plus dj's, and guest
appearances from Seaman Stains and good ol' Roger The Cabin Boy....and Pamparius will rule the waves.
The boat will depart from a secret London location which will be revealed only to ticket buyers. Each person will
receive a very special maritime momento of an event which will surely go down in sea-faring history.
100 tickets will go on sale as of Tuesday 29th July at 9am and will be available by calling 0871 2200260. Over-18s only.
TURBONEGRO release their new single 'Locked Down' in the UK on August 18th and play Reading and Leeds on 23rd and 24th August.
